Poggio Portinari
Brand Identity for a Tuscan hotel estate inspired by Italian writer & poet, Dante Aligheri.
Poggio Portinari is a conceptual vineyard estate hotel located in the Chianti Region of Tuscany, Italy. The hotel is aimed at individuals seeking a rejuvenating escape to evoke inspiration and creativity through immersing the senses in a breath-taking setting.
Inspiration for the hotel's branding was drawn from the Italian poet, writer and philosopher, Dante Alighieri and his renowned poem The Divine Comedy, and illustrations of The Divine Comedy by artist and poet William Blake.
This encounter with two of history's finest artistic talents resulted in a brand identity with an elegant and classic feel, with slight modern touches, supporting the hotel's mission to create moments of inspiration at every touch point.
The hotel's namesake is inspired by Dante's muse, Beatrice Portinari.
